Prevail Owner's Club

That was a bad decision Kelmar, people like us are not safe around the general population. :D

This is probably the beginning of the end of our thread :(

Lol!

Unfortunately it's how out goes, we've had to do it when they pop up in every section. Perhaps we'll add a disclaimer to this one ;)

LOL, I posted a comment but went back and deleted it and a picture because I had a feeling this was going to happen. Oh well, looks like it happened anyway. :-p

I had a 1989 Mustang GT (black, 5-speed) and I loved that sucker. Not only did it look good but it was FAST too. It had a little work done to it (chip, etc.) but nothing like you guys are talking about.

I'll probably end up putting a super charger on the Solstice if we keep it. Only thing is, those things aren't cheap. It'll take a little time to get some play money saved up to do it.

Yeah the mustangs are fun with the little tweaks done to them. and your car sounds like to be pretty awesome with the supercharger. gotta make a huge difference!

Sweet :D

What's done to it?

in that pic? Exhaust and custom firmware in the ECU.

Now? Intake, Exhaust, shocks, struts, axles, wheel bearings, transmission, engine/tranny mounts, and the return of the stock ECU...
So it's basically stock, but its outrun supercharged 5.0's numerous times :D

Its pushing some heat:D

and if you haven't done already, try the pulley kit buy will not charge too good at an idle.

I had a pulley kit previously but had to ditch it due to the supercharger cause u have to relocate most the accessories (alt, smog pump, etc) so it caused belt length issues. The charging was fine because I upgraded the 70amp alt to a 130amp unit

Cool! I guess it only works with out the supercharger, unless making major modifications.

Sup prevailers!

Life's been busy. I traded the Saturn for another mustang LOL.

89' LX 5.0 with headers, flowmasters, maximum motorsports clutch quadrant, firewall adjuster, and clutch cable. Besides that its pretty much stock. The car had electrical issues that the previous owner gave up on after months of dealing with it. She's running pretty good now that I went over a few things :D smogged and ready to go. I already installed an off road H-pipe and a K&N filter, upgraded to the larger 130 amp alternator and high torque mini starter.
