Got the HTC Evo Design 4G today so Im going to be on their forums from now, thanks to everyone for the mods made.

Report back with your findings on the new phone. Id like to know what kind of DL speeds you get and what kind of Antutu Benchmark score. Have fun with your new toy![]()
Thank youAntutu Benchmark score was 3229, and while I cannot seem to get full 4G signal I did score 2770kbps with poor signal.
I really would of expected a lil higher on the benchmark. But Im sure after root, removing some bloatware, and a few tweaks, it may get to near 4000. But still, 3200 out the box is pretty good. I almost bought the Evo yesterday until the Boost sales guy said here in Milwaukee, we got pretty crappy 4G reception, and should probally wait til after summer to go 4G, when the towers get upgraded. Im sure after the Prevail, that thing has to seem like its Smokin!Hi Dest1ny! I didn't notice it was you untill I quoted you. I used your referral code twice!Yes the SIM card slot is still there along with the IMEI #.
Hi Dest1ny! I didn't notice it was you untill I quoted you. I used your referral code twice!
Anyway. The question I wanted to ask is not directed to you but to anyone who knows... Anyone got any information on discount handsets? I mean the sticker price is $300 but I'm sure there's discounts available...
As for the SIM solt. Can you put a SIM into it (AT&T or TMobile) and use it that way? Possible?
I wouldn't expect any discounts to happen for at least a month or two. Right now they are flying offa the shelves.
