“There’s Something There”: Romney Says There May Be A “Bombshell” In Donald Trump’s Taxes!

On Wednesday’s “Your World” on FOX News, former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney told Neil Cavuto that Donald Trump’s tax returns may prove he hasn’t been honest about his money.

Romney suggests the bombshell could include him lying about his wealth or that he has not made all those charity donations he claims to have made.

...one of the finest of the self-destructing Republicans.

Viewed from abroad, the whole Trump thing is really scary: don't GOP voters remember what an utter, unmitigated disaster it was last time they put an idiot into the presidency? Dubbya destroyed the US economically and militarily, turned the land of the free into an effective police state and changed the US from a proud supporter of human rights into a country that openly abducts, tortures and detains people indefinitely without trial.

The Bush administration's utter incompetence in the two wars - one of them illegal - has destroyed your military reputation: your enemies no longer fear your military because they've watched it be - completely unnecessarily - humiliated in the mountains of Afghanistan and the desserts of Iraq.

If you doubt that your enemies no longer fear you, take a look at Russia: it has invaded a US ally in Europe and is currently brazenly attacking groups in Syria that US forces are fighting alongside. You really think they would have dared do either of those before Bush?

Economically, the Bush administration opened during the biggest boom in decades and left with the biggest bust since the Great Depression. It also turned what was projected to be the greatest budget surplus in recorded history into the greatest deficit in recorded history.

And now we have GOP voters looking to elect someone who makes Dubbya look like an intellectual - it's like they're desperate for the US to fail.

Scary Facts... Unfortunately. I was pro Trump in the beginning but this last month or so has opened my eyes to greater stresses of reality. Russian PM has already declared "cold war" and now China making threats too..?? [emoji33] Cruz is trouble without a doubt but Trump is potentially scarier at best.

I think Master Yoda said it best. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

Trump's playing into a public mood of fear and anger. I understand the anger, but you have to respond rationally, and these people are not. I try to live my life without fear. I accept that I live in a world where people can and do kill others. You can do your best to prevent it, but you can't prevent anything.

My main worry about a Trump presidency is that this fear and anger will lead to a complete police state. Trump's demonstrated his contempt for the bill of rights repeatedly. The fervor with which he is supported leads me to believe that his voters would have no problem with him suspending civil liberties to 'get stuff done'. I mean, look at the way he talks about people. He intimidates reporters by promising political retaliation.

Hey, glad to see that you are open minded and willing to actually examine what Trump said. I don't think most of his supporters are, unfortunately.

I'm afraid it's too late to stop him from being nominated, unless we can block him from getting 50% of the delegates, which will give us a brokered convention. But I think that will result in him running 3rd party. So it's lose-lose for conservatives. 2016 should have been a slam dunk for the GOP, but Donald came and kicked the hoop over.

I'm sure he Tweeted it too, Lol [emoji41]

At this point it appears that Trump will carry the nomination... appears, that is. That doesn't seem quite right to me either, but he is good energy and I'll have no problem pushing his button. But for those of you that don't like him, will you still vote Republican, vote for Hillary/Bernie instead, or just stay home and grouse?

It's at least reassuring to hear so many sensible voices here :)

What's the feeling about Trump's chances in the general election? It looks like he will up against Hillary, who looks the best bet for the US from abroad but who clearly has her own problems.

If it winds up Trump v Hillary, we'll be in uncharted territory. A billionaire motormouth against a proven liar that happens to be A Woman.

Analysis: Rubio Finally Makes Move on Trump, But Too Late?

Rubio, along with most of the other GOP presidential candidates, has treated Trump with kid-gloves for months, tiptoeing around glaring questions about the real estate mogul's business record, political ideology, brash temperament and ambiguous policy proposals.

Only now, with Trump threatening to pull away from the field, did Rubio aggressively try to dismantle the billionaire businessman's grip on the Republican race, with occasional help from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Will definitely vote, undecided as to direction tho. Depends on a great deal as to how the delegates play their game.

If that happens, I'll vote Trump only so that Hillary stays outta office. She's a lying Feminist and that's scary. I have absolutely no problems with considering a Female President.. but I severely object to HER being one, even more so than Trump so I'll vote for almost anyone but her. I also think it will be harder for Trump to keep secrets/quiet about stuff than Hillary cuz being deceitful is apparently a talent and habit of hers in which I'd also assume has caused her to amass great skill in such, Lmao.

Lmfao. [emoji23] I would avoid electing ANY feminist into that high a position of power..

Its seems that whilst a lot of the electorate would vote for a woman, they'd only vote for one if they ran out of rich white men to do the job, and then only if she would do what the rich white men told her to.

Christie Endorsement Payback to Rubio for Attacks

"This was a counter-move," he added. "This was a move to counter whatever attention Rubio might've picked up [Thursday] that is a mark of a master strategist.

"It adds to my now-growing belief that Donald Trump is not some political novice, but in fact has a politically strategic mind that is far more sophisticated than most GOP consultants.

"What this has done is the art of the deal," Towery said, referencing Trump's 1987 best-selling book. "This had to be in the works. Trump had it in his back pocket."

In true defense, I'd also avoid delegating a masochist also as they are extreme ends that do not sit well in politics

Er... However you split it masochism and feminism really aren't on the same spectrum....

Perhaps you meant to say chauvinism... But that wouldn't work here either as that would describe most of other candidates who are running.

Mysogeny might be... And certainly there are a lot of political people guilty of that... But again it's not quite the right word..

But it's definitely not masochism...

And if your going to search in google... Don't do an image search
