Price comparison app?

On last weeks gadget show they scanned a barcode then it opened an internet app which provided price comparisons - excellent when out shopping and could use it to get a reduced price in a shop!

However it was an icrap app and I think Nokia run it too.

Any ideas if there'll be a Desire app? I'd pay for something useful like this.

get barcodescanner (or similar) from market (most are free). Once installed, you scan barcode and link into net... should be as you're thinking. hope this helps

shopsavvy is an android version. you scan the barcode and it goes online and gets local pricing details for that item

I use "Barcode Scanner" and it is quite good

shopsavvy is amazing for comparing prices, even finds the cheapest price the closest to your current location.
