Pricing for M9 leaked

Pr-ordering opened today, so more info is now available. The SIM-free price from CPW is £579.99.

Example network tariffs via CPW (all include a free M9 "Dot View" case):
EE: £41.99pm (Unl calls, unl texts, 5GB data) + £59.99 upfront. Upgrades have no upfront cost.

O2: £43.00pm (unl calls, unl texts, 5GB data) + £59.99 upfront. Upgrades have no upfront cost.

Vodafone: £43.50pm (unl calls, unl data, 4GB data), no upfront. Upgrades similar.

Note that these will differ from the network's direct offerings; see above leaked EE pricing as an example. :)

Including VAT at £580, so we ought not convert to dollars, or not including VAT?

Am I asking the question correctly and / or did that make sense? O.o

These are pre-order prices, is it same to assume that they will not increase after the phone is released?

And will we still get the free case?

Prices are retail, therefore inclusive of VAT. As for sterling/dollar conversion... try 1:1. That's the usual gouging we get over here. :(

It's best never assume anything in the mobile industry, but it's unlikely. Any fluctuation will likely be in the upfront costs, directly related to any change in the wholesale price from HTC themselves.

And will we still get the free case?

Unknown as yet, but most likely a limited-time offer via HTC to encourage pre-orders.

5588 yuan CNY. Which is about the same as UK, current exchange rates. Too expensive for my wallet though, probably get a Xiaomi this year instead.
