Help Print wirelessly on printer

So I have a wireless printer not on a network. It is set up as ad hoc mode.

So when I need to print with my laptop, I just directly connect to the printer and then print.

I tried connecting the phone to the printer, but I can't find the printer under

wifi settings or

wifi direct settings.

Give PrinterShare a shot. I don't know if it will work with adhoc settings, but it does work well with wifi in general.

This app would be great, if they updated and actually had popular printer drivers with it. One of the hottest printer lines out there right now, are the Kodak series printers. Printershare has like 5 drivers for Kodak and they're not even top sellers. So what they do, is if you're not at home and can't connect to one of your PCs and print thru it... is you have to create an account and purchase "pages", so you can print through the Internet, to your own damn printer (which is also really buggy).

Depending on the brand of your printer; you may be able to find a brand specific app. I know that Kodak & Epson have their own apps available. I personally use the Epson one and it works great, even scans images to my phones gallery.

I use PrinterShare but my printer is hooked up to my network wirelessly. you may need to configure your printer to your network and see if you have any luck, mine did not work before i had configured mine
