i stumbled upon this sprint prl looking throughout XDA, they added more towers i believe in Hawaii, maryland ,omaha and other areas, they also upgraded LTE, but that is useless to us :D, but i have not tried it yet so if anyone would like to give it a show let me know how it is.

Well just like the radios on here it say just put it on yo SD card go to boot loader and it will automatically find it and flash it but I might try it

Thats a PRL, not an hboot, you need to flash it with QPST Configuration.

Instructions from Leslie Ann,"Fix everything by turning your phone into an Evo 3d" thread

PRL (optional) is a bit more in depth.
This seems to be a pain in the neck for most, however posting the diag drivers above may help. If you can't get it, don't stress as this is optional and usually has the least effect of all of these.

1. Disable debugging on your device (settings, developer options) and connect it to your computer

2. Install QPST

3. Open "QPST Configuration" in the "QPST" folder under Programs

4. Dial ##3424#

5. Click on the “Ports” tab and “Add a new port”, select it based on what your phone connected as. You should find it easily enough.

6. In the top menu, select “Start Clients” and open Service Programming.

7. Select your device

8. Select "Read from Phone". I will ask for your MSL code. If you don't have it, search the Play Store for MSL Reader, it should be the first result. It will tell you your MSL).

9. Go to the "Roam" tab

10. Click Browse and find your PRL file (you will need to unzip it).

11. Select Write to phone, once it reboots, you are are done. Sometimes this generates an error as it finishes, ignore it, it still worked (you can verify in "about phone".

I flashed a ton of prl files. None did squat. It's just a list of towers. It can't bring the towers closer to you or give you higher priority.

This is my results with this PRL 25010, i live in Virginia, getting solid signal bars with 25010 and good 3G speeds.

@BackHandLegend in step 5, you need to pick from the list your phone the one listed as usb, on my end it shows as usb etc...

Check drivers and make sure diagnostic mode is on. I have never gotten a PRL swap to work on a Sense rom, but CM10 instructions as described on Anthrax (and XDA somewhere) have gotten me through on a couple occasions. When you pull up that screen and uncheck the box, something will pop up in the selection box if all drivers and diag mode are working properly.

GODDAMN WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS IT WAS. (To start)

I didn't know what the problem was, its fixed now and I have one more bar :D anyway through an hour of googling (All hail google) I did these steps.

THEN

To find the COM port your HTC Modem is using:
Go into the control panel and then device manager. Look for the HTC Modem. Right click on the modem and select properties. Select the "Advanced Tab" then "Advanced Port Settings" Button. Com port will be listed there. (Windows 7 Instructions)

(both were found on different forums, don't think I'm an idiot) t(-_-t)

How did you put your phone in diagnositc mode? NVM it's the ##3424# thing... But on the device manager what do you choose?? I guess I got it working. Make sure to have usb debugging on, Idk why that was turned off.

i cant get into diag mode on the rom im currently running, its a Jelly Bean rom and ##DIAG# doesnt seem to do.... anything?
