Root [PRL] 3023 is RIGHT HERE!!!

Hey, you guys didn't post the results from changing the build prop values for 3g. Just curious to know if it helped. :)
 
It helps a little. Changing the build.prop makes the connection more solid but doesn't improve the speeds. I switched to 3024 and that made 1x speed better but now I don't see 3g as much.

Note: I haven't had the chance to apply the build.prop mod to the sense rom or rom zero. I'm not sure if roms have anything to do with it or not.

Thank you for that info, im using prl 3024 too but on CM7 rom. You are right, the 1x speed is a little faster and i'm not getting 3g as much. This is what my build prop is:
ro.ril.hsxpa=3
ro.ril.gprsclass=12

Should i change the value to 2,12?

i use opera browser when i want to watch video, not the mini but the full version.. when you click on a video link it will open the flash video in your media player, plays great with no lag or artifacts

My values are 2,12. I would change them for sure.

Note: Here's a screenshot of an option I use when making a power control widget. It seems to kill 1x only allowing for 3g service. I haven't noticed any adverse effects yet.

I did not even have those settings in my build.prop. I added these; I'll let you know if anything cool happens. =)

Update: I noticed no difference...
