Root PRL not updating?

After it updated to EE14 try rebooting phone, and try my process, it should work

Man , I've done everything but cut back flips . I even started over by using Odin ..... it keeps saying "internal error" . I contacted Boost and they said it was my phone . Anyhow , I just re-installed the modem update from here in the Forum and went ahead and rooted again w/ all the Shabbymods . I'm just gonna leave it be for now . Seems to be working fine .Thank ya sir for your time . .

Same here, after i lost my 3g and went through all that im just gonna leave it as is. If there is a prl update or something else i need to push, i will just contact them, go through the BS i did today, tell them my data isnt working, go through the troubleshooting motions, and they almost always reset ur data account - which in turn causes the system to push out the updated info.

hey i was having the same problem on my phone ad when i went to menu/setting/about phone/status it had like 000-000-4798 and the MSID was the same so i went to tne dailer and press ##027681# and then hit edit and put 10 zeros hit enter and then put 704 441 6543 hit enter it reboots and it should be fixed

After rooting , I was having issues with the PRL & profile updating . I tried for several months with no luck . Several days ago I decided to give it another try and BAM !!!! It started working . Don't ask me how or why because I don't know . I believe that Boost reset something on their end but that's just a guess .

What is the latest PRL? I have 61007.


EDIT: I just ran across someone with a "factory" boost prevail. No rooting, no shabbymod, no custom rom. Their PRL is 61007. So I'm good. If your PRL is not 61007 then...

you can just use the shabby interdepth modem updater if you want to update without using the forced over the air update.

That is what I did the first time this time I reset factory and updated then rooted and shabbymod.
I think my battery is draining at a increased rate now. I may be redoing and testing.

Since I switched to Simple Blue with no CIQ, I have had simply amazing battery life. That shit is genius.

Pretty nice. I was just having tons of issues before i removed CIQ. I barely lose a percent/hr on standby now.
