No it's not. You have to do it manually. I made a habit of doing it once a week when I had the Pre and still do it with the EVO.

No the first time I ever saw my phone do an automatic reboot was about 9pm on 6/16. then on 6/17 it just started to go nuts re booting and rebooting. Thats when I saw here there was an update. I checked my phone and sure enough 666 was installed but I never installed it myself so I assumed the system updated it the evening of the 16th and thats why my phone re booted that evening. Now I did a hard reset and of course 666 loaded again. I have not yet seen the phone reboot since last night but I'm going to have to give it a couple days of no reboots for me to be convinced the hard reset fixed it.

does this fix this problem? HTC EVO 4G:HTC Evo locking up or rebooting I'm having this problem as well. just did the PRL update
