Root PRL Update Issue

Ok so I got a new tu and had really slow 3g that only worked ocassionaly, was getting alot of timeouts etc. Used the vovoder tweak and things worked well for a day then it got slow again after reboot. Checked prl and it was 61009 updated prl and phone said the prl was updated. Here is the strange thing prl was still 61009 but data worked well again. Now I have to do this everytime I start my phone in order to get data. Any ideas?

I had that issue with my first TU.
Turned out it was a faulty data antenna (so customer service said)
Ended up being sent a replacement phone.

I've also noticed that when you select "Update PRL", it'll say the PRL is updated, regardless of whether it actually changed or not.

The problem is happening now when I go from wifi to 3g as well. Glad i didnt root yet as it looks like it might have to go back to samsung.
