One bar means nothing, odds are, nothing actually changed.

PRL only tells what towers you can connect to, so unless the closest was removed and the next closest knocked you down one bar, changing PRL did nothing for you (which is common).

As it is, odds are the PRL did nothing and your one bar less is just a typical variance in signal. Weather, other users, how you hold it, other electronics, all can effect your signal strength.

PRL is the one of the most difficult and least effective changes you can make, unless you have a severely outdated one.

I guess I should elaborate

The first pic is after the update, I know I'm a little slow!

My work phone had an update today and changed its prl, so I thought I'd give it a shot
