Help Problem after digitizer change

Digitizer was broken and i ordered new one via repairsuniverse.com. I changed digitizer and try start up the phone. Phone starts up and I hear all sounds (htc theme etc.) but nothing on screen. And when i disassemble phone and connect only screen to circuit board (without connecting any wire) with battery, it works!

Can anyone help? If need more information, please ask.

First time i changed digitizer and put phone on, all was ok but touch screen doesnt work so i disassembly it again. I put some tape to hold digitizer on screen.. Is there something that must not covered? But still it works when phone is on pieces, but not when its assemble.

And sorry my bad english.

Did you follow any guide etc when you took it apart/put it back together? Is it possible you missed something?

Yes, i disassembly and assembly using video i found on youtube: (HTC Desire HD Disassembly Video - YouTube and HTC Desire HD reparatie handleiding - YouTube).

Is there something contact surfaces that must touch together or must NOT touch together when i assembly phone again?

I don't know I'm afraid, I've not taken mine apart and have no need to at the moment. Messing about with the phone's hardware isn't really my fort
