Root Problem after Kernal/recovery install....

I downloaded forcystos Recovery 3.1.1 and Meatcurtains v2 from the kitchen. Since I installed it, I noticed a huge loss in battery life. I was getting 24+ hrs on a single charge even with live wallpapers running...Back down to about 6...
Is that normal?
How do I go back to the way the phone was right before I installed these 2 items?
I was originally on DE03
joeykrim-SDX-recovery2.1.3
joeykrim-SDX-a2.1-root-v7
Do I just reboot in recovery and reapply that zip?
I was kind of expecting an improvement, but the phone burned more battery and got a little lag since the update.
I just want to go back to where I was.....
Thanks
Steve

very simple, just put your original rom back on the card.
But you may still have it there after rereading your post.
If it is still there then yes you are correct
vol down>call>end
apply zip from card
pick the one you want
and you are back to the original from the video.

Cool.....
All my apps and settings will stay right?

they should.
I have never lost them doing it this way but a backup is always recomended.
I changed daily from the kitchen for about a week before I setled on one finally and never lost any.
