problem connecting to PC

hi

I've just brought a scroll essential tablet and I can't seem to get it to connect to my PC I have windows 7 however when it goes to install on the PC it won't it's given me this message on the trouble shoot page

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

and I can't upgrade the driver below

any help would be much appreciated

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

I'm going to move this to the tablet area of the forums so other users can chime in.

First make sure you have menu>settings>applications>development>Debugging turned off. The box should not be checked. Then plug in your tablet to your PC. In the task bar you should see the USB Connected notification. Pull that down and tap on it. You should now be prompted to connect as storage. Accept all the prompts and your tablet should show up on your PC as a flash drive.
