Help [Problem] Copying Files to Android OS

Hey guys;

I have a problem with my Motorola XOOM. I have had it for quite some time now, and recently set it to factory restore. Of course, everything is working fine.. until, I found out that I could not copy anything to the device whatsoever. I try to copy, it starts, then it just randomly stops. No error, just stops. I am currently using Windows 7, and Honeycomb on the XOOM.

Does anyone know the problem with it?

Thanks.

hi,

have you reseated the card in the device?

have you taken the card out and installed it into a card slot on the computer to test the card? use the windows error checker to see if there are an errors on the card.

have you tried another desktop?

are you rooted?

Thank you for the response; though I have already solved the problem.

You see, I have an iMac, and when in Mac OSX, I could never get anything to work with Android. So, I dual-booted with Windows 7, then hoping to get it working. I guess the problem must lie in the Mac compiling itself (chipset, processor, etc.). So, I went and used my other computer, which is a HP desktop, I had no problems after that.

So, to any Mac users, I would recommend getting a Windows PC, so that you don't have to worry about fooling with your Android :P.

there are apps that lets you connect to your xoom (or handset) thru your local area connection wirelessly. so there is no need for a physical link betwixt the tab and desktop.

I beg to differ.

Wifi file explorer works wonderfully for me. I use it for the evo 3d as well.

Am pleased you are back on track. :D
