Help Problem downloading apps on Kindle Fire.

I got the Fire tonight and I have problems trying to download apps. It tells me the Amazon Appstore isn't available in my region. I live in America and my account was registered in America. What can I do to fix this? Thanks!
 
I had a different problem with the market on ours but I fixed it by rooting it and installing the android market. It's worth it if you're comfortable with that...
 
Are you sure that your in America? loo jk. I had this happen to me too. Just call up amazon and make sure that all your info is right. Sometimes they have server errors and don't read registered addresses correctly and make it so that your from outside the US. Does it say where they think your from when you try to use the marketplace?
