I installed the Amazon Kindle app on my Samsung Galaxy S2 then checked out an ebook from my local library. The process directed me to an Amazon site and eventally a download to "Howard's Android" (my first name). It stated that download would occur during the next sync. Nothing happened. WIFI and Auto-sync were on and pressing "Sync all" had no effect. The Amazon site indicated the download had occurred. Nothing on the phone. After several minutes of messing around I gave up but this morning after I turned my PC back on and looked at the phone it was downloading the book. What am I missing here? What contributed to the delay in downloading the book?
