Root Problem during ROOT please help

Having this problem during rooting, just couple minutes after click PDA button from Odin.
Please help to reset the phone back

Two possible things

1) You used the wrong file or set of files with Odin (wrong pit, missing pit, wrong pda)

2) You had a bad flash, it happen alot.

-Open Odin
-Go back in download mode
-Make sure Odin sees your phone
-Reflash until successful boot

Thanks, but the other problem is I can't (for now) get the phone to download stage. :bawling:

sorry, not trying to hijack this thread. but when i was rooting my captivate. i was trying to close another window close to the odin and accidently exit out of the program. and i am now unable to get back to the download mode like the original poster. can any one suggest what i need to do?

i do have the ( PC ! Phone ) logo

Use this one-click http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731989. It will allow you to flash back to stock from the phone ! PC screen.

thank you so much, even though i never got to the download screen, but odin oneclick recognized my phone and i was able to flash the phone.
