Root Problem flashing PS Freedom on OpenDesire & CyangenMod

Hi,

Whilst running either of the above custom roms i'm unable to flash enable-bdmv-psfreedom-OpenDesire-4.0.4 from the recovery menu.

Once i've flashed it from recovery I choose reboot and I get the white screen with HTC in green, i've waited upto 10 mins but it does not boot back up, I have to take the battery out.

Can anyone suggest where i'm going wrong as it's doing my head in.

I remember reading something about it being incompatible with some of the newest Cyanogen/Open Desire ROM's. No doubt there will be a fix coming up soon. XDA forums are down at the moment, otherwise I would link to the thread I am talking about.
 
download psfreedom put put psfreedom.apk
on the root of the sd card
install apps installer from market store then run psfreedom
