Root Problem helping friend rooting phone.

[hortstu]

I tried to root my friends phone but couldn't get s-off. The phone is 3.29.xxx. When I go to terminal emulator and type su I get the # prompt, but no root apps work and hen I go to the boot loader it says s-on.

Unrevoked said "triumph" but when it reboots into recovery I get a few problems. Unsupported radio version, update failed, error in data/local/unrevoked-forever.zip (status 42)
installation aborted

Download unrevoked forever and flash that and it should fix. This has happened to a few people latly.
