Apps Problem in adb & command prompt

Hello everyone. When running adb commands in command prompt the dos window that opens doesn't stay--it opens and closes instantaneously. But the output for every particular command is found correct. But the dos window doesn't stay. I use windows 8 Pro in my PC and have Micromax Bolt A58 phone.

Can you tell us what commands you're trying to use?

I've never seen or experience this issue before and I've used adb a lot, but then again, I'm not using Windows 8.
