Help Problem in Sending SMS

Facing problem in sending SMS. When typed and clicked on send, after some time error comes Unable to send / Message not sent. Able to recieve all SMS. Message center configured as 0984587001, which is for Airtel Bangalore, India.

Did anyone has same problem ?

Contact your provider. Either via their website, or help from your phone. They usually SMS you the correct details.

For Airtel Customer help, dial 121 from your phone.

Even I am facing the same issue with Airtel Mumbai.

I have got the right message center number but still facing the same issue.

Any suggestions

I was also facing the same problem with my galaxy S. The SMS was not going. I then called up Airtel and they gave me the message center No. The problem was solved after entering the correct Message center No. I found the post by Beerkan extremely useful. Thanks a lot
