After updating to android 2.2 i am encountering a problem with Internet. The mobile gives a lot of network error while trying to use Browser or the android market application. Whereas, on the other hand mails are working. If anyone else is also facing the same problem please reply.

Sometimes those issues come along following a major update, and it's best to go into the application manager and select any troublesome apps for cache and data clearing, then reboot (power off then back on).
Menu > settings > applications > manage applications > menu > sort by "all."
Select each app (browser, etc) one at a time and use the cache and data clear buttons.

The internet starts working after restarting the phone and the phone works fine for a while...after some time it again gives a message "Could not connect to the server". What is the permanent solution to this problem. It starts working after a phone restart but that is a temporary solution.
