Problem on my S4

My Phone Battery color(green) change into white. Im wondering what is happening is it a virus that can be removed or must be.


2nd My Pattern Lock(Line) seems to be small it reduced to 50% of its original shaped.

Can anyone help me with this. I already Formatted/Reset my phone.

Did you recently upgrade the software to android 4.4.2? If so, that is the reason for the changes. It happened on my S4.

Yes i got the 4.4.2 update. is there a way to roll back it?? my phone got a bit lag. due to this patch. i recommend it not to update. to prevent this shit update

All system notification icons in the status bar are white with KitKat (v4.4.x). You'll notice that the little up/down arrows on the data and wifi icons are gone too.

Good grief - what is the point of that change? At least the arrows gave me a clue if something was happening on the wifi or if the phone was just stuck.

That's a personal decision. On the one hand, it fixes the 4.3 bug in Developer Options where "Transition animation scale" got reset to 1.0 every time you accessed the camera app. But as Allan pointed out above, having the upload/download indications gone is less than useful. You can still see them in "Quick Settings" (accessed by swiping down on the right side of the Notification bar), but it's less convenient.

I am having major issues with my S4 since this last update. Constantly locking of the screens, deleted apps, GPS problems. A lot of the apps I had installed no longer worked so I had to uninstall and reinstall them.

Sure would have been nice if they could have done this patch without all the glitches in it. Not real happy right now.

Oh and does anyone know what the camera icon on the bottom right hand of the lock screen is there for?

To me the bottom line is that there are more advantages than disadvantages of the 4.4 KK update.
