Root Problem overclocking DX

So when I first got the phone a few weeks ago I rooted it using z4root. Then I installed Liberty at first and overclocked it using Jrummy's DX/D2 Overclock. Played with that for a few days, everything worked fine. Then went to Apex just to see if I would like it better. Overclocked it the same way, played with it for a few days, everything worked fine.

Then somehow or another at some point in changing my roms and all it would only boot into the bootloader. Being that I had already fixed a DX for someone else that got stuck there, I knew what I had to do to fix my DX.

Used the .320 .sbf and then updated it with maderstock's zip. Rooted again using z4root, and tried overclocking it and now it will not take an overclock. Whenever I try to set the freq it just does a reboot and wont hold. Doesnt matter the freq or voltage. I even tried it on different roms. And I even tried one of the other overclocking apps (cant remember the name now). I can still use the other functions in Jrummy's but not overclocking it.

I am currently running the stock version rooted. It just doesnt seem to like OC at all anymore. Is there a fix for this or am I just doing something wrong?

Just don't OC. There really isn't any huge need to OC, and it's not worth frying something...My phone doesn't do well with any OC setting, it may be ok for a day or two then starts to act up, now I leave stock speeds, and just undervolt and it runs great, battery lasts forever.
