Root Problem Rooting!!! (not a first timer)

So... I'm having an odd problem rooting my phone and I'm wondering if you guys could help me diagnose the issue.

Yesterday, I finally got around to doing a clean wipe aka back-to-stock with adrenalyne's fabulous DI01 flash package through odin. Everything worked as it should and my phones back to it's stock state.

Problem is... for some reason, I cant get my phone to root. Anyone know what might be going on? It resets my phone and tries to push all of the apks but in the end it just gives out with an "error: device not found".

I've tried reinstalling the drivers, trying it on another computer, made sure to use the original usb cord, etc, but to no avail.. What's odd is that this is the exact same setup/drivers/cord/root method I used a couple months ago that worked out just fine.

The only thing I find slightly suspect is that the ota update that i ran changed my build code to EA28. Does this have anything to do with it? Any clues as to what might be going on is highly, highly appreciated~

I had this same issue. Instead of using the one click batch file method, I just entered in the commands manually.

I'm using the one-click batch root. And yes, after going back to stock, I got the OTA with the EA28 update.

I would try the manual adb push way, but have never done it before. Sad and embarrassing, I know.

What do you mean load and go?

I'm rooted and on EB01, but my buddy wants me to root his. I remember when I did it, someone said "you didn't need to do that. It's pre-rooted". It was better for me so I understand it, but now I just want easiest way for him.

How can you load and go? If you're not rooted, you can't get to cwm to flash.
 
I had the exact same problem trying to root the other day. I went from EB01 to total stock DI01 and it wouldn't root. Also not my first time either. I wanted to restore a nandroid backup, so I just pushed clockwork and restored the backup I wanted, which I found out will automatically root you since you were rooted when you made it. Weird though...

Only reason I didn't stick with Froyo is that I felt the battery life was worse then stock DI01.
