Root problem rooting phone need help please

Tried androot, when I click go root, I get a message saying sorry cannot root this device.........then I tried downloading astro file manager renamed it .zip, and followed the guy on youtubes instructions....when I got to the first booting up of my phone I was into the root menu, It would not let me reinstall packages, tried twice........so I reperform the whole .zip thing 3-4 times...I cant even get to the root menu now...the phone jus goes to the stock applications........I have no usb cord.....cant figure this out....any help or suggestions would help thanks

Try the attached apk on your phone, it worked for me when I first used it.
