Help problem seeing html file on sdcard or email

I'm using CM on my touch pad and I need to read a simple .html or .htm extension via a email when I try to view it in the browser or opera mini or even a file manager I get a bunch of gibberish like this below:

Try Firefox beta? O/W I have no idea why it won't work.

How do you get html files as email attachments? I can't remember seeing one for years, and I'm a web programmer by day.

Html files are very common today, when our business send s them out you just save the webpage as whatevername.html <not as full but partial only and then send it to the person as a attachment .

I will try firefox beta in the morning, opera doe snot work, I know that..
