Help Problem sending SMS to groups

When i send a message via SMS to a group i've set up some get it as an e-mail, some as a MMS and some as SMS. Any ideas?????
 
Use handcent app, and under settings disable the option to convert SMS when sending more than 3 messages.
 
Is nobody aware how to resolve this issue using the stock messaging app, I really don't like handcent and don't want to delete my email contacts either.
 
Does this happen when there's both an email (primary) and mobile (primary) settings?

I've only sent one group SMS, but all people only had mobile numbers. There was no problem.
 
Yes they both show as primary.
I can't seem to switch email addresses to secondary to resolve it, I'm not even sure if that is possible to be honest or if it actually would sort it out.

I run a Regional Car Owners club and sending sms messages to a group is a pretty essential function for me. Any help would be much appreciated guys.
 
Instead of creating a new message and sending that way, have you tried sending to a group, which specifies what action SMS/Email.

People->Groups->"Select Group"->Group Action -> Send Group Message.

Try that, if you haven't already. Be interested to hear if it works.
