Help Problem setting up email

Hi All

Just brought my new HTC Desire S and what a nightmare I'm having setting up my emails. I have googled this error that I am getting and can see that it is a common problem but can't get the answer I am looking for.

When I try to set up my account I am getting the following message - "cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information. Your server is not responding". I did manage to set up the account by clicking on continue but cannot send or receive emails!

My mobile provider is talkmobile and my ISP is Sky.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated as its doing me and hubbys heads in!!

Who the hell are talkmobile?

Talkmobile are part of carphone warehouse - got a good deal with them. Any advise?

Sounds to me like some of your settings are wrong - especially if you can get it to login but not send or receive. Perhaps POP3 or SMTP server names and/or login credentials?

Did you get this sorted--I am having the same problem with 'Incredimail'.
