So this past month ive experienced a problem with my phone. At nights i turn it off and put it on my table. WellI noticed onenightthatthescreen was a dark gray light kinda. I turned it on, well it seemed likethegray screen is coverig overthe white htc screens (bothof them) and the droid eye. Then it goes to the slide down to unlock screen. My background is black and thats not my background. Its also very slow when this happens and its happening every time i shut it off. I have to basically shut it off twice to actually shut it off. The screen being on can take my battery half way down because of this problem and its getting annoying. I had my other incredible returned for a differant problem but this one is referbished, i got it this past august and have had no problems til now. All it is is after shut down the screen is a low-glowing dark gray. When i turn it on the phone vibrates as usual and then instead of the normal white screens and the eye its just gray and then that black background pops up. I also dont know if this is a problem also but an update wont install. I tried it a few times and when it says rebooting now i waited about an hour and it didnt do anything. Thanks for your help, if it fixesmy phone or not its appreciated.
New problem** alright so now after this pleasent little routine its now draining my battery over night when i know its shut off. I know its off after the second time i turn it off because it doesnt show any evidence of it being on and the screen is black. I have been takig the battery out at night, so its not the battery because its full at night and full when i turn it on. Its dead if the gray screen problem arises and i keave the battery in. I went to verizon they said a hard reset should work but last time i had a problem with the phone before this one they said hard reset and that did nothing so i dont think they know what to do.
I know this is starting to sound like my phone is garbage but whatever you can help me with helps. I know this is a sort of popular subject, my phone says its storage is low when i have only used 161mb and i have 587 mb free, in phone storage. I have moved as much as i can to my sd to fix this but its being resistant and annoying. I dont even know what to do haha
