In fact there is an new Alpha version out now which is supposed to be much improved.
Just wish I could try it out. I have 30MB of space on my phone and it gives me a low space error when I try to install it. How much space does a mobile browser need!?
Can't you use a file manager app to just remove the partly downloaded file ?
I also tried dowloading fennec, which failed for unknown reasons. I can't find the file to delete it and now can't download from the market to get a file manager. Help me please. I really shouldn't have tried the alpha...
Edit: I mounted the phone as a disk drive and deleted the fennec file. Now everything works fine and I'll wait for the Beta before I try again!
I have tried but I don't know my way round HTC's labyrinth of folders...
That sounds good. Do you mean you deleted the .apk, because if you have the same problem as me it's the files that are created when you install the .apk that take up the space and are hard to get rid of, not the .apk its-self...
I still have't found a solution....
Hopefully a wipe and a new ROM will sort things out....
Luckily, I backed up everything with Titanium Backup just a day or so before I tried to get Fennec.......
I was installing an apk from the web (fennec) but I ran out of memory half way and now it has taken up all but 3mb of my internal memory! I can't uninstall it normal because its not really installed!
Thank-you so much for your help.
