Root Problem with adding contacts

I installed ShadowROM yesterday. A problem I am encountering is, when I add a contact, it does not show up anywhere. I've done search for it immediately after adding it, and it does not find it. Any suggestions? The only contacts I have are facebook contacts showing up in my contact list. Is there anyway to recover my contact list from my previous ROM?

Do you have your contacts linked to your Gmail account? I'm thinking you do not as they would be there after a sync.

When you go into your "people" app or whatever it is called on ShadowRom (contacts maybe?) can you hit "menu" then choose "view" then choose your options from there on what/who you want to show in your contact list? I'm not familiar with ShadowRom sorry but assume it's vanilla

Your a genius. Missed that. Had it set up to show only facebook contacts apparently. Now, if there were a way to recover my contacts without having to enter them all again.
