Problem with backlight on keys?

Does anyone elses keys (keyboard, home button, menu, etc) not light up sometimes? For me the problem would fix itself after opening and closing the hard keyboard a couple of times. But after I downloaded SweeterHome preview 2 they won't light up at all. Is there a timeout option im missing or something? Or is this a common problem with no fix?

I believe that the problem is with android 2.01 because after updating from previous2.0 my Droid has been doing the same everytime I turn my phone off and then on but when you adjust he brightness after turning your phone on the backlight works again just a little bug I believe,but it is a little annoying

Try adjusting your brightness. Just turn it up and then back down. See if that fixes the keybd backlight. If it does, you may want to throw a widget somewhere that you can just toggle the brightness up & down real quick.
