Help Problem with charger

Well its really not a problem but more of a concern. Last night while having my Ascend on the OEM charger and cord, my wife noticed its making a light hissing sound. Kinda like when a faucet is slighty open, but sounds like electricity. When I connect it to a different charger the hissing stops, so its coming from the transformer (plug-in part) of the charger. I dont wanna keep using the other charger because it has lower amps and tends to heat up. Does anyone else have this problem? Should I be worried?

If you're hearing noise from the charger, I would highly recommend replacing it. I could understand possibly hearing something if you had it pressed against your ear, but I can't imagine that sound being audible at a distance is a good sign. I worked for 2 years in a PC shop, and anytime we had a power supply like that, it went straight to the trash. If it was a customer's power supply, we recommended an immediate replacement.
