Help Problem with Galaxy S II

Hi everyone I'm new here, I've recently got a SGSII after upgrading from HTC Hero. My problem is that it seems that the phone seems to be quite glitchy, in that it will lag for half a second every 5-10 seconds or so, just while browsing through the home screens/apps or while playing a game (not even HD ones), bearing in mind I have turned off all the widgets and trying to have nothing running in the background (i.e trying things directly from start up). I've also tried factory resetting the phone etc.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and know what the issue is? Or is it just me being picky?

Sorry for being a pain (and I hope I made sense), I'll appreciate any help possible

I think it needs to go back mate.

After a full reset, it should be fine unless it's faulty.
