Help problem with google play store

It did not connect. I did go to the Tracfone site because that is where I bought the phone and it said the Play store was being worked on (maintenance.) I will try it again tomorrow but for now I don't think anything will work. Will get back to you on the progress and what steps if any I took for it to start working again. And if it still doesn't work and since I only had this phone a week, it might be defective.

You also want to clear the Google Services Framework and the Play Services data.

PS - sorry this was hard to find. You ought to have gotten at least two pop-up notices from me with a link to here. Apologies if our site software glitched on that.

I didn't try Play Store until today. Opened but kept thinking and then now it says... No Connection. Try again. Can this be fixed? At least at the top of the white screen it did say Play Store
 
As said before I went to menu>settings>applications>all and find the play store app in the list. I cleared the cache and clear data. Reboot your phone. I took the same steps for clean Google services framework and play services data. But I still could not open the Play Store. Finally I called Tracfone to see if there was anything else I could try before setting back to factory settings.

I FEEL LIKE A FOOL. I've had 2 other cell phones and they were the flip top kind. I only use pay-as-you-go. This is the first time I have a phone with all the stuff it does and it is an Android Smartphone. I didn't realize I was only allotted certain amount of time for phone calls, text messages and internet. I still have time on phone calls and text messages but the internet time was all used up. I went and bought more time (I get 3x) and now the play store works. Imagine that. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me and to let you know the steps I took to get the place store working again. As long as I don't run out of time it will continue to work.
