Help Problem with home screen (loading)

Hi,

I am on an Orange branded stock ROM and upgraded a week ago to 2.3.5 with the new version of Sense.

I had a lot of lag to start with but after an hour or two evertyhing seemed fine but a few times a day when I finish doing something in an app and I press the home button it takesme to the white HTC screen for a few seconds then comes up with the main home screen and says 'loading' for a good 10 more seconds before I am able to use the phone again.

I don't really want to have to factory reset so any suggestions welcome.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for the link.

I've tried a few things from the other thread but short of a factory reset nothing has worked much.

I've tried for the last week pressing 'back' to exit apps instead of just pressing the 'home' button and in the last week I've only had this problem happen twice. Not sure why but I can live with that until I can be bothered to do a full factory reset.
