problem with ICS theme on CheckROM Revolution v2

[pkim87]

I've tried installing both the ICS Domination v1.5 KI4 version and the universal version on CheckROM Revo v2 (XXKI4). I've also tried installing them with JKay app uninstalled from settings > applications.

I'm wiping cache and dalvik cache before each install. The weird thing is that the theme seems to install with no problems (based off the CWM log) and when I reboot the phone, it goes into the original SGS2 boot animation and then loops.

I've also tried the ICS KI3 version on CheckROM v5 Final before and I managed to get the ICS boot animation going but that one also bootlooped

P.S. I tried taking out the battery then reboot but that also didn't work.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums pkim87.

What you are describing is a well known problem with this theme and is affecting a lot of people trying to use it.

There is an ongoing discussion on the CheckROM thread over on xda about it.

For future reference, as this is a ROM related question, you might do better posting it here:-

Hope this helps.
