Help Problem with medical software install

I am trying to install Lexicomp (a medical/drug reference package) on my G tablet. I get as far as the registration screen, then recieve the following error message: " Registration Error Device ANnull is already registered to xxxxxxx@xxx.com" Apparently the tablet uploads a null id instead of the correct one to identify my device.

I have tried the installation under three different roms with the same result whether sideloaded or downloaded from market. The software co. is investigating options but so far no solutions. I contacted Viewsonic support and was told an update is due out in the next two week they expect will solve this type of installation problem. Any suggestions in the meantime? Could the problem be due to the lack of cellular features in the G Tablet?

I looked for this app in the Android Market and it should work with a wifi connection. However, I don't think it's an issue with the gtablet but more so on the app. I read some of the comments about the app and some Android phone users are having similar issues about registering the app.

Have you used this app before? Where are you getting the apk that you tried sideloading?

Also, the new update that viewsonic told you about is already floating around XDA so maybe Roebeet will incorporate the new update with TnT lite. You can try to install the app with the new version of Tnt lite when it comes out.

I've been using this app on a Droid Eris for about a year. no problems with registration or reloading the app after resetting the phone.

The sideloaded apk came from Lexicomps web page intended for user having trouble with the market.

I just heard from Lexicomp support. They feel that it is a problem with their software and are currently working on a fix. It will be interesting to see if the Viewsonic update has any effect since the problem with the lexi software does not occur with all android phones/tablets.
