Stick to Sandisk or Kingston, and try not to be tempted by the bargain bucket ebay prices. Get one from a reputable dealer. If you get one off ebay, make sure the supplier states in the advert that its GENUINE, so if there are any problems, you can always open up a resolution case.
Fake cards will report for example 16Gb on the drive properties, but can only write perhaps 2Gb and are usually extremely slow. There is a freeware utility to check your card called h2testw which basically writes a file to the entire card to check its validity. Make sure you put it in a USB2.0 compatible port tho, as putting your card in a USB1 port can cause this utility to erroneously report a card as being problematic.
