Help Problem with my music

I downloaded a discography and put it on my phone, but when I try to play one of the albums that I downloaded, it gives me an error message every time. This happens in both the stock music player, and in Winamp. This album also, for some reason, is titled [folder name] whatever that may be. I tried changing the folder name to be sure, and it always lists the album's name as whatever the folder is named.

However, when I go to play these files on a computer, they open up perfectly. The album name is correct, and the same files, playing off of the phone's SD card, through a computer will play flawlessly.

I've tried changing the tags manually to see if that would help. It didn't. I took the album off, and back on, multiple times, with no benefit.

I'm stumped. Does anyone know what my problem could be?

since you said you downloaded it, id say probably the type of format?
then again i could be wrong.
that or your music sucks lol

They're standard mp3 files. Plays fine on my computer. That's why I'm so stuck. I can't find any reason why they won't play.

Are those protected mp3s?
Cause then they won't play if that's so. Say thank you to the RIAA for the DMCA!
