Hi Guys,
I'm writing as my android phone is using lots of data when I hardly ever use it for any kind of data services. I have run spare parts and according to the network monitor, there is a process called UID 10026 which is eating it all. I did a bit of further investigation, and it appears that this process is the 'People' application - or the contacts app.
Has anyone any idea why this would be eating my network usage? Seems crazy this would use any network data. I know there are 'online directories' on it, but I have not set any of these up and can't see how to delete them off the screen completely, so I assume these aren't doing anything?!
Thanks for any tips...
Baz
