Problem with new micro sd card

Hi I have just bought a new 32GB micro sd card for my xperia mini pro.
I can put up to 3GB on it but anything higher than that and it dont show on the phone, if I plug it back in to the laptop all the songs are in a LOST file.
What I want to know is it my phone or my new sd card
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE

Welcome to AF, sorry you appear to be having issues.

Where did you get the card, eBay per chance? I ask as there are a lot of fakes out there formatted in a way to look as though they are 32GB, but actually aren't.

Download H2testw, run it and see if it gives any errors. If yes, I'd contact the vendor for a replacement/refund.

I have tried formating it still the same, and I have downloaded H2testw and its doing the test now. Sorry yes I did get it from ebay, someone in Hong Kong

By the looks of it there something wrong with the card its trying to fix it, so hopefully it will work when its done. At least now I know its the card Im assuming anyway.
Its still fixing it HOPE IT WORKS

The app won't fix it, it will just tell you whether or not it's corrupt.

I suspect you'll be fine if you use another card. Sorry to say, but I think you were one of the unlucky ones.

Check out 7dayshop or SVP, they normally do me ok for these sort of things.

Unfortunately no, it's basically a 4GB Card, programmed to look like a 32GB one.

If you complain to eBay, you'll be refunded.
