Root Problem with no SD card when my Evo 4G's charging.

I'm running the Synergy Rom, it's been working fine since I installed it. But the other day I've started to have a problem where when it's plugged in the USB the SD card isn't accessible. I've checked and it's not set for mount SD mode, it's just charge. I've rebooted and used a task manager to see if something was running in the back ground that might be causing it. I'm not seeing anything.

I'm not even sure what else I can check/do here, so any suggestions would be great.

Go into recovery, clear your Dalvik cache and your cache partition and reflash Synergy. Boot the phone up and then reboot it again.

I had to do that when I flashed Synergy onto my Evo 3D, so it may be a little different for you, but I had problems with Synergy until I did that.

Thanks for the reply, I figured reflashing would fix it, since I'e been running Synergy for months with no problem. But I'd like to figure out the cause of this, so in case it happens again I won't have to wipe my phone. With a lot of apps and customization it kind of a PITA to flash. I guess if I can't figure it out by the end of today I'll reflash.

You shouldn't need to wipe data to reflash the same rom over itself. Just make sure you clear the cache partition and dalvik.

i would just wipe dalvik cache and cache first before re-flashing. anytime i get weird little issues like that wiping the cache's usually tales care of the issue.
