Help Problem with PDF's / word reading and edit

Maria17

Lurker
Hey there,
I have many pdf's and I would like to read them on polaris office app on samsung galaxy 10.1. It reads but I cant take notes on it with the S Pen... Do I have to convert it to word? If it is so, how do I do that...?

I trued to convert to docx, but polaris office doesnt allow to write on docx, and sometimes in .doc it doesnt work either, the file is very messed up (in the last case).

Any help please?

Hi Maria17 and welcome to Android Forums! :D
You might want to look at the app ezPDF Reader PDF Annotate Form. It is supposed to allow you to write directly in a PDF.

can s-note not open the PDF and so giving the ability to make notes directly on to them? Not got mine yet but hoping that you can do that - if not il be using Qoppa PDF instead me thinks??!!??

I am new on here but this is exactly what I joined to find out and have got the answer from another thread.

Open S-note, in top right there will be a drop down, click on import.
Find the document you want to use but don't click on it, instead click on the little circle to the left of it. It will now open in S-note.

You can now use the s-pen to write on the document.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

Im new here.. but this is definitely the thread for me.

Just received the note 10.1 for my birthday (yay)! was hoping to write notes on PDFs but when I open them in S Note it brings up only the images, no text that was already there!!

Any ideas? I think I've also worked out how to write within them, but if I have no text to read there's no point.

Thanks!

I've had a similar problem where I hit import in S-note and instead of the pdf opening in S note the whole application shuts down.
:(
