Problem with photo gallery

Every time I try to delete a photo from the gallery it shows the deleting sign and gets stuck at that step and then I have to either pull up the task manager and kill the app or pull the battery. Also, the few times that it actually goes through the whole deletion process, it shows the picture gone until I reboot and then it's back in the gallery. Anyone else having this issue or know a solution?

I had a similar problem deleting screen shots one day. I ended up opening Astro File manager and long pressing the photo/screen shot and selecting Delete from the Menu. You can also use My Files app if you do not have Astro.
