Help Problem with Picasa albums

HI,
I am new to android,i just got my Samsung Galaxy S2 and in a week i saw a lot of data beign consumed. I am wondering if it has to do with the picasa albums that got synced automatically.
i Don't want the albums from my gmail account on the phones. Help..

its highly unlikely its the picasa albums. If anything, there are a few people that said the AP Mobile app is eating their data even though they dont use it. You might want to remove that app if you're rooted.

if you want to test picasa, just remove that checkmark in the accounts settings menu.

I am using Gingerbread.UCKH7 which does not have the option to deselect sync of all the google features, the google books or google calendar ,etc.
