Help Problem with powering off and back on-LG Revolution

Turned power off to reboot and phone wouldn't turn back on until I took battery out and put back in. Any thoughts on this one?
 
All the Android phones I've owned (including my Revo) have needed a battery pull at least once in their lives to clear an anomoly. I don't think it's chronic to the Revo and I wouldn't be alarmed unless it's a frequent issue. - MarkC
 
It happens just about every time you turn the phone off. It wont ever charge until you pull the battery. I talked to my verizon store about it and they didnt know what was up, its freaking frustrating though huh?
 
If this is happening "Just about every time you turn the phone off", then something's wrong. I've only had to pull the battery once on my Revo and I think I caused that particular lock-up.

Well today I thought phone was shot, was working slow and locking up so I shut off for a minute and it took 3 minutes to power off then waited a minute went to turn on and it wouldn't so pulled the battery out 3 different times for a total of 20 minutes before phone finally fired up. Thought it was done and is only two weeks old
